Dick Yarbrough is a popular Southern philosopher, political pundit and straight-shooting humorist all rolled into one. Seen weekly in nearly one million households throughout Georgia, his column is an artful mix of comedy and candor that leaves readers amused, inspired or enraged, but always engaged!
Dick was our very first paying client way back in the late 1990’s. At that time, web design was a lot more primitive than it is now and his first site — although we were proud of it at the time — left something to the imagination. This one is the third site we’ve built for Dick. It is in WordPress blog form and gives him the ability to make updates himself. It also incorporates his weekly column with the most recent three always appearing on the front page in reverse chronological order. His site is tied to his Facebook page and his Twitter feeds; everything he posts on Twitter automatically posts to his Facebook page AND the front page of this website. The site is optimized for SEO and allows readers to comment on his articles. We designed a custom favicon (the little icon that appears in your browser window) that matches his logo. Additionally, the site showcases his other talents, which include writing books and painting!
